Unlike other types of overlays, TOTAL OVERLAY SYSTEM is used not only on the deck itself, but on the turnstiles, ramps and helixes as well. One system for the entire process. Because of it's very high tensile elongation and bond strength (greater than concrete), it is extremely durable and long-lasting. TOTAL OVERLAY SYSTEM is more compatible with the thermal cycles of concrete than other overlay systems and greatly reduces chances of delamination. It is 20 times less permeable than typical parking deck concrete, protecting the concrete from water and chloride ion intrusion. TOTAL OVERLAY SYSTEM is a hybrid, polymer- modified UV stable system. It's physical properties allow bridging of cracks and minimize the potential for reflective cracking. Consult Unitex Technical Services for full product application details.
