Usage
  • Chemically releases concrete from steel, plastic, plywood, and composition forms
  • Prevents hardened concrete build-up on all equipment

Physical Properties
Bulk Density: 7.38 lbs./gal.
ASTM D88 Viscosity: 45 SUS at 100°F
ASTM D97 Pour Point: -20°F
ASTM D92 Flash Point: 260°F

Coverage
Steel and plastic: 2,000-3,000 sg. ft./gal. (49-73.5 sq. m/L)
HDO plywood: 1,000-1,500 sg. ft./gal. (24.5-36.7 sq. m/L)
BB grade plywood: 800-1,050 sg. ft./gal. (19.6-25.7 sq. m/L)

Application
SURFACE PREPARATION: Forms and equipment should be free from dirt, hardened concrete and foreign matter. Replace any damaged panels prior to application.

METHOD: Spray with Scotchman fog tip from Unitex to achieve published coverage rates. Spray direct from container in all working temperatures. Apply in thin film by sprayer for maximum protection and economy. Puddles should be wiped up with a rag prior to pouring concrete. Prior to coating plywood forms, apply one or two heavy brush coats to edges for waterproofing protection.
Equipment should be sprayed daily with Formtech N at the end of each day's use to keep concrete or plaster soft for easy removal.
Aluminum doors, windows and panels should be wiped down with FORMTECH N upon installation to prevent cement and plaster from adhering.
Light fogging of prestress and precast forms prior to each use will produce a clean cast with a lighter finish and fewer bug holes. Less works better. With continuous use, beds will stay clean and rust-free. Cleaning of forms will be greatly simplified, reducing expensive maintenance.
