Features
  • Cures and chemically hardens in one application
  • Does not alter bondability of concrete when applied according to Unitex directions
  • Easy cleanup with cold water
  • Economical – substantially less cost than many cures
  • Safe – contains no explosive or flammable solvents; no harmful fumes or odor
  • Contains a non-acid penetrating agent – resists many acids, oils, greases and salts
  • No waxes, paraffins or varnishes added
  • Ideal for enclosed food preparation areas where odors & toxic fumes can be absorbed by food
Usage
  • Chemically cures, seals, hardens and dustproofs interior, exterior, vertical or horizontal concrete substrates.
  • Chemically hardens and densifies dusty tilt-up panels when dusting is caused by osmotic effect resulting in unhydrated cement.

Physical Characteristics
Flash Point: None
Color: Transprarent blue
Acidity: None
Set to Touch: 20 min.
Dry Hard: 50 min.
Contains no explosive or flammable solvents. No danger of fire or toxic fumes involved during use or storage. Can be used in buildings while office work continues.

Application
METHOD: Sprayer.

CURING AND HARDENING: Step 1 – Apply UNI CURE immediately following the finishing operation as soon as the bleed water has disappeared and slab can support the weight of an applicator or as soon as forms can be stripped.

Step 2 – Avoid overapplication and puddling. Excess unreacted UNI CURE will leave white crystals on concrete.

DENSIFYING TILT-UP PANELS: Lightly mist dusting panel with UNI CURE to point of refusal. Will harden and densify unhydrated cement caused by osmotic effect.

Cleanup
Rinse equipment with cold water. If UNI CURE is accidentally sprayed on glass, brick or aluminum, rinse with clear water immediately.
Coverage
Hard troweled finish: 400-600 sq. ft./gal. (9.8-14.7 sq. m/L)
Broom or float finish: 300-400 sq. ft./gal. (7.4-9.8 sq. m/L)
Rough slab finish: 200-300 sq. ft./gal. (4.9-7.4 sq. m/L)

Limitations
  • Do not dilute or alter.
  • Not for use on colored concrete, brick or exposed aggregate.
  • Test application should be performed on other substrates.
  • Keep traffic off floor 4-8 hrs after application.
  • Application temperature range: 35-120°F (2-49°C)
  • Protect from freezing. However, may be reused after thawing and agitation.
  • Avoid contact with glass, brick or aluminum. If contact occurs, immediately flush with clear water.
