Description
Recommended for use as a floor hardener in place of magnesium fluosilicates. Helps eliminate problems at the jobsite due to the simplicity of UNI CURE HD's application procedure compared with that of all fluosilicates.
A premium sodium silicate concrete hardener that meets Corps of Engineers specifications. It also meets USDA specifications for use in food processing areas.

Features
- High solids, 16.7° Baume allows for usage in lieu of magnesium fluosilicates for hardening specs on Corps of Engineer jobs
- Easy one-coat application no dilution
- Cures and chemically hardens in one application
- Leaves a dense hard surface comparable to quartz No. 7 on the hardness scale
- Leaves natural appearance of concrete
- Does not alter bondability of concrete when applied according to Unitex directions
- Non-flammable, non-toxic and non-acid; no harmful fumes or odors
- Resists acids, oils, greases, salts
- Sprayers will not clog, no damage to parts
- UV damage resistant
- Ideal for enclosed food preparation areas where odors and toxic fumes can be absorbed by food

|
Usage
- Chemically cures, seals, hardens, and dustproofs interior, exterior, vertical or
horizontal concrete substrates
- Chemically hardens and densifies dusty tilt-up panels when dusting is caused by
osmotic effect resulting in unhydrated cement

Application
METHOD: Sprayer.
CURING AND HARDENING: Step 1 Apply UNI CURE HD immediately following
the finishing operation as soon as the bleed water has disappeared and slab can support
the weight of an applicator or as soon as forms can be stripped.
Step 2 Avoid overapplication and puddling. Excess unreacted UNI CURE HD will
leave white crystals on concrete.
DENSIFYING TILT-UP PANELS: Lightly mist dusting panel with UNI CURE HD to point of refusal.
Will harden and densify unhydrated cement caused by osmotic effect.
Coverage
Follow recommended coverage rate guidelines; however, never exceed application
past the point of rejection, i.e. puddling.
Hard troweled finish: 400-600 sq. ft./gal. (9.8-14.7 sq. m/L)
Broom or float finish: 300-400 sq. ft./gal. (7.4-9.8 sq. m/L)
Rough slab finish: 200-300 sq. ft./gal. (4.9-7.4 sq. m/L)
Vertical substrates: 400-500 sq. ft./gal. (9.8-12 sq. m/L)
