Features
  • Permanent
  • Resists forklift tire marks
  • Environmentally safe
  • Easy water cleanup
  • No dilution required
  • Odorless
Description
A high-end hardening and dustproofing compound that is chemically reactive and permanently bonds to concrete. It meets USDA specifications for use in food processing areas, as well as all V.O.C. requirements.
Usage
Chemically hardens, seals and dustproofs interior, exterior, vertical or horizontal concrete substrates

Physical Characteristics
Inorganic, not affected by ultraviolet light as are organic polymers (epoxies, acrylics, polyurethanes).
Life Expectancy: Becomes part of the concrete and will last as long as the concrete to which it is bonded.
Chemical Resistance: Acids, salts, coal tar distillates, solvents, alcohol, petroleum oils, fats and fatty acids.
Environmentally safe: UNISEAL is odorless and water based. Exposed pilot lights, sparks and cigarettes are not a problem. Special storage for insurance is not required because it is neither flammable nor combustible.
Easy maintenance: Wash floors with mild detergent or wet mop, flush walls with water hose.

Coverage
200 sq. ft./gal. (4.9 sq. m/L)
Actual coverage rate is dependent upon finish and surface porosity.

Packaging
5 gal./18.9 L pails
55 gal./209 L drums

Drying Time
Depending on humidity and ambient temperatures, 1-3 hours

Precautions
Warning: Surface wet with UNI SEAL is very slippery. Use appropriate caution.

Cleanup
Rinse equipment with cold water. If UNI SEAL is accidentally sprayed on glass, brick or aluminum, rinse immediately with clear water.

Application
METHOD: Spray, roll, brush or squeegee uniformly to form a continuous film for best results.

NEWLY PLACED CONCRETE: Step 1 – Apply UNI SEAL immediately following the finishing operation as soon as the bleed water has disappeared and slab can support the weight of an applicator or as soon as forms can be stripped.

Step 2 – Ensure the surface remains wet with UNI SEAL for approx. 30 min. Do not allow surface to dry. Mist with water or product if necessary to keep surface wet. As UNI SEAL chemically reacts with the free lime in concrete, gelation occurs, causing the surface to become slippery.

Step 3 – After 30 min., as the surface becomes slippery underfoot, thoroughly flush entire surface with water.

Step 4 – Squeegee dry the surface to remove any impurities or product residue.

OLD CONCRETE: Step 1 – Apply UNI SEAL so entire surface is wet with product for 30 min.

Step 2 – After 30 min., as the surface becomes slippery underfoot, thoroughly flush entire surface with water.

Step 3 – Squeegee dry the surface to remove any impurities or product residue.

Limitations
  • Application temperature range: 35-120°F/2-49°C.
  • Keep traffic off floor 4-8 hrs, after application.
  • Protect from freezing. However, may be reused after thawing and agitation.
  • Not for use on colored concrete, masonry or mortar.
  • Test application should be performed.
  • Do not dilute or alter.
