Hardening
|
|
- Cures and chemically hardens in one application
- Reduces moisture transfer to allow normal hydration of concrete
- Forms an extremely tight moisture barrier
- Contains a non-acid penetrating agent, resists many acids, oils, greases and salts
- Sprayers will not clog, equipment may be cleaned with cold water
- Non-flammable, non-toxic and non-acid - no harmful fumes or odors
- No waxes, paraffins or varnishes added
- May be recoated any time after 48 hours
Leaves surface bondable for multiple adhesives - paints, urethanes, epoxies,
adhesives, hardeners, terrazzo, asphalt coatings, cement toppings, stucco, gunnite,
etc. Topping manufacturer's instructions supersede those of curing manufacturer.

- Leaves no discoloration when aplied according to manufacturer's instructions -
concrete retains its aesthetic value
- No surface residue after 28 days on normal concrete
- May be recoated at any time
- Leaves surface bondable for multiple adhesives - paints, urethanes, epoxies,
adhesives, hardeners, terrazzo, asphalt coatings, resilient tile, bonded wood flooring,
cement toppings, stucco or gunnite
- Non-flammable, non-toxic and non-acid - no harmful fumes or odors
- Contains a non-acid penetrating agent, resists acids, oils, greases and salts
- Sprayers will not clog, no damage to parts
- Ultraviolet light does not deteriorate the cure
Recommended for use as a floor hardener in place of magnesium fluosilicates.
Helps eliminate problems at the jobsite due to the simplicity of its application
procedure compared with that of all fluosilicates. The Corps of Engineers specification
on floor hardeners, CEGS-03300, Section 6.6, approves the use of sodium silicates in lieu
of zinc or magnesium fluosilicates because UNI CURE HD has a specific gravity of more than
16.7 degrees Baume.

- Increases useful life of concrete structures
- Low cost, easy to handle and apply
- Reduces porosity and permeability to increase hardness for better wear resistance
- Builds concrete structure to increase chemical resistance and expand concrete products
to new uses
- Penetrates to provide long-term performance
- Complies with environmental, health and safety regulations
- Easy cleanup - wash equipment with clean water
- Ready to use - no mixing necessary
Reacts with the free lime in concrete and permanently bonds to it,
chemically hardening the surface to extreme density. Unsealed pores prevent millions of
passageways for corrosive chlorides, oils and chemicals to enter the concrete; UNI SEAL
seals these pores, eliminating penetration. Works as a curing compound, hardener,
dustproofer, bonding agent and freeze/thaw agent
